I'm glad to read that part. Should be an interesting 2009/2010 for the Mini brand and options!

This would be sweet and really put MINI ahead of the game. T. Boone Pickens thinks we should switch to natural gas as a transition. Others say electric cars is the way to go since they can be generated by renewable energy sources (i.e. solar, wind, hydro, etc.). Either this article or the video further down in the forum talks about how fast they can be too. I would love a fast, clean MINI. I would miss the sound of a gas powered motor though. But with today's gas prices I might be able to get over it.
