I'm too lazy to go look and plus there is a computer in the boot among other odds and ends, so I'll ask here... do I have a jack somewhere in there where the battery is? I think I do, but Kyle doesn't think so. I may be dreaming but I coulda sworn I saw one once!

Yep, it should be in the left corner of the boot, little black bag that has the lug wrench and jack in it, and a couple stretchy pieces with clips on the end that hold it in place in that corner.

 Well I'm glad they did (or rather, one of these days, I'll be glad they did).

Next question - GP owners - do you have one? Kyle has his sub mounted above the hidy hole and doesn't know if he has a jack either.

I believe its a DOT requirement of some sort that they have to provide a jack, regardless of a spare, etc.

Supposed to be there... under the boot floor covering.

Though I know a number of people with 1st Gens that didn't get the tool kits and jacks with their new Minis either. A bit inconsistent at the factory?

GP= no jack and has special blocks that go inside the side skirts to extend the Jack points. Cant jack up the car without them..Dont loose them
