hey folks... I just joined the DMC forum, and I have a 2005 CooperS Black over Black with Silver "Cobra" stripes and rally lights. The warranty is set to expire soon and I am looking for a good MINI mechanic. (North Scottsdale BMW/MINI is not my favorite choice). Any suggestions?

Welcome! I usually just use the guys in the club so maybe someone else can suggest a shop. :)

I have had the clutch repaired twice underwarranty as well a few other things. The car is currently leased, and I am trying to forcast what my maintenance repair costs are going to be, if I buy the lease out. I really like my MINI, and I'm not so fond of the style changes with the new version. Ideally, I would like a mechanic that knows MINI's well to go over it and give me an assessment.

One of my friends takes her cars to Advanced Automotive. They know how to work on MINIs. 2060 W. Adobe Drive (19th Ave/Union Hills) 623-780-9443 - ask for Joe Mozeris. That's where I will go once my car is out of warranty for repairs (that is, if I have a repair that our club members figure out). :)
