Don't forget, the U of A SAE Car Show is this Saturday, 12-4PM! We now have a schedule for Saturday, and some more details about the show:
12:00PM - Show begins, voting for trophies opens
2:30 PM - Voting closes
3:00 PM - Trophies awarded / Raffle winners announced
4:00 PM - Show ends
Trophies: As noted above, the winners of all three trophies will be voted upon by you and other car show attendees. Voting runs 12-2:30PM, and the top three vote-getters will be awarded trophies at 3:00 PM. You must be present to win!
Food: SAE will be grilling and selling hot dogs and hamburgers, as well as chips, sodas, and an SAE specialty, hot roasted corn! All car show entrants will receive a coupon for a discounted meal upon check-in.
Raffle: SAE and Wildcat Off-Road will be holding a raffle to benefit both clubs. We have several prizes available, including some car wash supplies and two brand-new mufflers. Raffle tickets may be purchased at the registration table.
Registration: Registration is open all week, and drive-up registrations will be allowed, so make sure to let your friends know!
Directions: The show is in the parking lot adjacent to the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering building on the U of A campus. From the intersection of Campbell and Speedway, proceed west on Speedway to Mountain, turn right (north) on Mountain, then turn right at the first intersection (Helen St). The first right off of Helen is the entrance to the parking lot.
