Eurojet Catback for R53ers...

Hey guys, I've got a couple friends that work at a shop called Eurojet Racing. (www.eurojet.com) They mostly do VW/Audi work.

Anyway they made up a couple (4 i believe) exhaust systems for the R53 and called me one day and told me they'd give me a smokin' deal on one just to get rid of them. So i jumped the gun. They have 3 more and REALLY want to move these things (they are taking up space and they're also moving soon). It sounds great and the quality is excellent. If you want to hear it, PM me and we can meet up sometime. Anyhow, I thought this would be a good chance for someone to pick up an exhaust for a good price. If you're interested call them up and tell them Ryan with the MINI told you about the exhaust. They will install it too, I think it took them like 35 minutes to do it... pretty quick. I am in no way affiliated with Eurojet, just lookin' out for good deals. I might be able to post a sound clip this weekend. If you have any questions, PM me or I am LowEuroDub on AIM.

Oh, anyone got tips on removing the stock SC pulley w/o incident? I have the ALTA pulley remover, but i've heard MANY horror stories about it not wanting to budge...

These guys are really nice, and do alot of good things in the VW world, I just wish they would make more mini parts.

Something tells me doing a custom R56 exhaust would not be a problem for these guys.

They should have no problem but they may need the mini for measurements. Call and ask to talk to Joel or John. i don't know Ronnie but he seems nice online.

Just noticed you're in Tucson. He may need the Mini. Give Joel a call or email at and you may mention the forum and john in tucson so he remembers we talked to him.

I've been talking to these guys since last week and they seem really nice!
Terri is driving up this morning to get the exhaust done. You cant beat the price they are offering on this system installed. We'll let you know what we think of the quality and sound after she gets back home, I'm sure it will be two thumbs up.
Now to get a pulley party put together in Tucson so we can get the 15% pulley done on the car:)

Joel had quoted me $300 installed, but they gave my wife a better price because she was up in phoenix picking up our son that flew in to visit us before he goes off to Iraq in November with the Army.
When she got home tonight I could not believe how nice the exhaust is!! It sounds GREAT and look to be very well made. I think they may only have two left now so if you are looking for a new exhaust I would jump on this!!
Can you tell that I'm excited about this exhaust???
Now we just have to get our pulley installed and get a CAI.

FYI, for DMC members in Tucson, although I don't have full use of either arm just yet, I do have the puller and belt tools for doing the supercharger pulleys. I also have a floor jack, but the job is best done with two.

I don't know if anybody else in Tucson has experience changing them out (Jana?), I have assisted once (doing my own) so I have some experience with them. Maybe a couple other wrench turners can get together with my tools, my eyes and Jana's arms and some assistants we can do a pulley party in Tucson.

More floor jacks could get more engines in place as the puller isn't used very long, we could flow from one SC to the next fairly quickly.

Those interested start a new thread....maybe in the members section or the MADMEN section.
