Hey, it's time for the Arivaca Volunteer Fire Department's Pot O' Chili Cook-off: Saturday, March 14, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. What a great reason to drive down Arivaca Road -- do you really need a reason?! -- and sample chilis. Lots of food and beverages from local businesses, games, and live entertainment!

I ventured South of Phoenix this past weekend and took your advice and visited Arivica. Got to say, Arivica Rd DOES offer some interesting twisties! However, the Border Patrol was out in force in the area...

Anyone going? My mom makes the BOMB chili, and she would probably want to go more if more MINIs are going!
