Saturday, June 7th, one of Kyle's old high school buddies, an innocent bystander, was killed at the QT at 99 ave/Camelback by 3 gang members who were shooting at two 18 year olds in their car.

Earlier that day Nikko (Nicholas Jackson) had dinner with his mom, 2 brothers, and grandparents, and later met some friends at Margaritaville. Late that night, he left and drove to QT to get gas, as the next morning he had to catch an early flight to Florida. As he pulled up to pump #7, the shooting began, and he was hit in the right shoulder, and the bullet traveled through his lungs, to his aortic valve. Nikko was still able to get out of his car, and run into QT to ask someone to call 911 before he collapsed. There was a lady there, that by coincidence, had the same first name as his mother, Connie, that stayed and comforted him until he died.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) from 5pm to 10pm, there is a benefit car wash at that QT (99 ave/Camelback). All funds donated, will be matched by Margaritaville.

If you can make it, his family will really appreciate it. We will be there at 6:30 til ?

It would be nice if we could caravan into the lot to show our support. Please post here if you'd like to participate.

If you don't want your car washed (I know some of us are particular about who washes our cars) that's ok - any amount you can donate will be appreciated.
