Hi everyone! My contact over at Westgate (the owner of Hells half Acre) emailed me again... this is what he wants to do. Who do I forward him to? These are his thoughts. Gets me excited:

So, MINI night at Hells Half Acre located at Westgate City Center.

I'm thinking the following:

Have the city of Glendale establish a route for the minis thru downtown Glendale. They can announce time, get media, set up a viewing time for Glendale residence. They'll LOVE IT!

Route ends at Westgate where minis will park all across the main fountain plaza. Fill Coyotes Blvd. Park on all avail sidewalks in front of business patios. Mini viewing gallery.

I will attempt to arrange a section of seats for a Coyotes game that night at a reduced rate. Thinking $5/$10 a ticket and have the arena annouce we're all there and invite the crowd to come view the plaza after the game? Show mini club on the arena screen as we're all seated together.

Hells Half Acre will supply each car w a Hells/MINI logo car antenna flag.

Drink and retail specials/discounts at Hells.

I will get discounted food/drink options at other Westgate spots so drivers can bar hop some. But let's make Hells home base pls.

I will have "The Italian Job" playing on the video billboard on the plaza for the main portion of the mini viewing.

Anything else we can think of? I can make it happen.

It sounds fun and is a great idea! My only concern is leaving the MINIs unattended around the plaza and sidewalks while we are at the hockey game. I'm afraid I would have to move mine to the lot before the game begins. Not particularly fond of the idea of having the public around my MINI if I'm not there...

I like the Idea!
I have attended many motorcycle events there and have not heard of anyones bike being messed with. Usually thier is a security presence.

Just wanted to put this out there...if this does happen and we are parking around the shops and restaurants, my car is a showpiece for my love of all things Jimmy Buffett so I would want to park at/near Margaritaville.
