Note: RSVP DEADLINE FOR ANY ADDS/CHANGES TO THIS EVENT IS 5PM September 2nd!

** 8/4/08 - Added hotel block and dinner information to make your reservations and RSVPs for dinner request.
** 8/13/08 - Added RSVP list. PLEASE let me know if you aren't on the list or your head count changes or if you have to cancel!
** 8/16/08 - Added Meet-up And Route Information, see below.
** 8/16/08 - Added the 6 Dinner Menu choices, please choose and RSVP with your choices.
** 8/19/08 - Added T-Shirt Buy Information - Deadline to order is Friday August 22 by noon.
** 8/26/08 - Reminder to bring your FRS Radio if you have them! Final RSVPs are about in! Thank you!
** 9/1/08 - If you are signing up late to attend the run, we cannot guarantee a hotel room will be available where we are all mostly staying, or that Charlie Clarks will have room for you elsewhere in the restaurant. So you will need to make your own hotel and dinner reservations/arrangements and then meet up with the group at the posted times.
** 9/2/08 - Confirmed Dinner Menu Item RSVPs now total 56. Room capacity is 56, so we are FULL!
** 9/3/08 - I have emailed trip packets to all RSVPs on the list below. If you haven't received it, please let me know, thanks!

DMCers and Fellow Prior 2006 Twist and Shouters!

Yes, it's happening again! The DMC and the NMMini folks are going to head up/over to cool country for a get together and dinner on Saturday September 6th. After a good nights sleep, Sunday morning we'll head over to AZ-191, previously known as AZ-666.

As those of you in prior attendance already know, this is truly one of the most spectacular drives and roads in Arizona.

For those not familiar with the area, this is the stretch of road that is the jewel in the trip: Map Link

AutoWeek Magazine, 50th Anniversay Edition, July 16, 2008, page 106-113, 50 Best Driving Routes in 50 states.

"Save the Grand Canyon for the family vacation. For hedonistic driving pleasure in Arizona, take US-191 from Alpine to Clifton. And for the maximum in viewing pleasure, drop the top or open the sunroof. Better yet, try it on a Ducati."

Yep, the first time I experienced 191/666 was on my sportbike. In a word, spectacular. :)

It looks like I won't be able to make MTTS or MITM, but this run up the 191 looks great and I marked it on my calendar.
Count me in.

Here is a video shot by one of the New Mexico members on the 2006 Event.
It's pretty big, but a great video.
I believe you need Quicktime to view this.
