Are you ready for a fun weekend with HUNDREDS of your Mini Motoring friends in Las Vegas? If so, you can book your rooms AND register for the Event!

The great folks that organize this event, The Sin City Mini Club, have the usual block of rooms set aside at the host hotel, The Palace Station.

The original special rate is now good til February 22!, so book your rooms and save yourself $20 a night! Room rates in advance are $79 for Courtyard rooms and $119 for Tower rooms, which is $10 per night less than in 2008. After AMVIV registration closes the rate goes up to $99 and $139.

We had a couple groups last year, both Wednesday and Thursday, but I think the larger group has typically been Thursday morning.

They did add a couple nice late morning/afternoon runs on Thursday last year though, so some wanted to be in Las Vegas early Thursday morning for those.

I'll be going up Thursday morning, usually meet in the north valley on I-17 and head out around 8:30AM.

Plus obviously, the earlier you go, the better the room choice may/will be. Generally those staying on the tower side specifically request the side facing the parking garage. Great way to wake up to some awesome scenery (hundreds of mini's below) and picture taking!
