Thanks again to everyone that made the Holiday Lights Run this year. I know it was a bit on the cold side, by Phoenix standards, with a finishing temperature of around 40 degrees, but I'll take clear and cool any day/night!

I'm sorry the end was a bit of a let-down with the finale house being closed/shut-off by the time we arrived, but I knew after 10PM it was a chance with the bigger displays, and we ran a bit longer than I thought. Next year we'll definitely start things out an hour earlier at 7PM!

Besides, what other club is going to hook you up to hang with Muhammad Ali for a few minutes at a Holiday Lights display? And for those that didn't make it, no, I'm not kidding. Thanks for that arrangement and contribution to the run Teresa!

THE CHAMP lives in Paradise Valley and is 65 years old. Lifetime pro record of 56 Wins (37 by knockouts) and 5 defeats. What a thrill to see him in person!

Plans are underway for the 2008 Christmas Lights run on December 13th.

While doing some early research this week, I received some unfortunate news that i was afraid was true, after one of our favorite houses was dark last year.

Shown above with Dee & Trace, "Old Man Brown Santa" who always had an amazing lights and Christmas display with a helicopter on his roof at 45th St/Acoma, passed away last year.

Rest assured, there are plenty of other homeowners and displays that will carry on the spirit, and we will have another fun run this year!

Look for a new thread for that event date in a few weeks.
