I finally get tires/wheels and need you!!!

Postby YELLOWMINIAZ » Sun Dec 30, 2007 4:12 am

Bob got me a gift certificate for discount tire. I finally get to upgrade.
I have $700.00 to spend and I want your help. I love the chrome look and I do not want run flats.... so go out there and give me some tires you think would look good on my car.

I want 16's or would 17's be acceptable? The tire thing is so overwhelming for me. It rains here and we do get ice...so I've heard. Haven't seen any yet.

I AM NOT PUTTING THOSE UGLY WHITE FLOWERS ON MY CAR SO DON'T SUGGEST THEM....!!!

For the budget I would stick w/ 16". Discounts website has a program where you can see what the wheels look like on your car but the graphics on the site are kinda bad and it doesnt really do it justice.

Not to put pressure on you to hurry and choose, but I stumbled on this coupon online for Carolina stores only for $100 off on 4 wheels:

http://www.discounttire.com/content/car ... oupon.html

But it expires tommorow!!!

I agree w/ Mark on color choice, Black w/ polished lip would look really good on yellow!!! It never does in pictures, but in person it really does.

These are the ones that I picked out in Chrome. Went to discount to buy and decided on these....

... Nice huh? JK a little too big. The tire guy wanted to see 20inches and put them on. Looks good but scraped the well when the tire turned. So I decided on these partly because they were in stock and the ones that Tim pointed out werent.

The drive is a lot smoother. Todd recommended Cumah tires.. I think thats how to spell that... but they didnt have those in stock either so he gave me the falkens for the same price. Now I just need a car wash.
