Getting down to the wire folks! Any of you wafflers still left, make that call! Here is the latest on the other Minis/Motorers joining us on Saturday!

Dan- We have 16 MINIs and 3 tentative participating in this Saturday's Coogie's Breakfast, Twisty Runs, and Petersen Museum. For the Petersen, I think we will have 25 people (including kids). Craig, our RoadMaster, has come up with some great twisty routes. He did a pre-run this past weekend and said the roads were good and views stunning. For an early dinner and drinks, some of my members are suggesting the Grove which is near a historical landmark ~ the Farmers' Market. It is basically a big Mall and very close to the Petersen. We look forward to seeing you guys this Saturday. All the best, Lex

FYI, hotel room blocked rooms have been officially released back to the public, but rooms are still available for anyone making a last minute decision. Two days to go!

George, a past President of the SCMM lives not far from the area where we are staying in LA, and I just received an email from him with some great local ideas for dinner on friday night with just our group, and for breakfast on Sunday morning when we begin our way back to AZ. Some great local mom/pop places with local flavor, history, etc.

The SCMM folks have been great, really looking forward to the weekend!

Yep, umbrellas for sure. Looks like we'll miss the worst of the storm today/tomorrow, and its trying to clear a bit for Saturday, you just never know with the coastal storms.

Either way, we'll have fun!

I just called the Petersen Museum to confirm our count, per their tour instructions. 25 Minis, 39 People!

Home, and sorting through the pics! We had a great time and caught a break with he weather and had a gorgeous Saturday morning and afternoon for the breakfast and run. We didn't hit any real rain until Sunday morning just about at the AZ/CA border. The SCMM folks were really nice and and gave us some great local hospitality. We have some possible things in the future with them already in the thought process!
