Earth Hour, a global climate change initiative, will take place around the world on Saturday, March 29, 2008. Phoenix has been designated a lead city in this landmark international event. Please help out to raise awareness about climate change. At 8 p.m., cities around the world will turn off their lights for one hour to show that individual action on a mass scale can help change our planet for the better. All households, communities and business are being invited to turn their lights off for one hour at 8 p.m. on March 29, 2008.
