It cost me $132.00 to fill up my truck two days ago. $4.00 a gallon for Diesel is crazy when gas is only $3.20

Yeah, crazy. CostCo had 91 octane for 3.87 yesterday at I10/101. Pretty bad when that is a bargain. Each pump line was 7-8 cars deep.

I had to fill up all three cars recently and having the MINI is the cheapest to fill and goes the furtherest on a tank of gas. Check it out.

1999 Chevy Blazer, two door 4x2
267.5 miles from full to needing gas
14.420 gallons required to fill it back up totalling $54.20 at $3.759 a gallon with a avg mpg of 18.55.

2003 BMW 325i
335.9 miles from full to needing gas
14.351 gallons pf PREMIUM required to fill it back up totalling $55.95 at $3.899 a gallon (.10 off per gallon at Fry's) with a avg mpg of 23.4.

2005 MINI Cooper (non-s)
415.4 miles from full to needing gas
12.858 gallons of PREMIUM required to fill it back up totalling $50.90 at $3.959 a gallon with a avg mpg of 32.306.

The MINI is definitely the cheapest car in the stable to run...
