I've heard those black out gauges really ruin the handling though. :lol:

Looks like your tach is doing the same thing mine is... All the odd numbers are white while all the even numbers are clear. :?

God i want that stuff but it so damn expensive. I just painted my grill, repeaters, and gas cap today though, Flatblack. Does anyone know if AC does flatblack vinyl?

Yeah, I noticed that when I was driving home today. Its just the 2 and the 4 that are kind of clear and difficult to see, but the steering wheel blocks the 4 anyway, and who cares if you are revving at 2? It just looks odd. However, at night, it looks fantastic and I didn't even realize the redline was lit up because it was so subtle the way MINI had it from the factory.

no it doesnt. i mean the orange portion of the tac between 5.5 and 7k. those littel orange hash marks. they are there, but never ligth up on mine.

She turns three at the end of April. It's almost a crime to have a three year old car as fun to drive as this one that has just 25k on it. We're taking a road trip next week that will add about 1,000 miles to it though...

The marks should be between 5500 and 8000, and light up between 6800 and 8000. Hence the term 'red line.' Just think, if cars were designed by Microsoft it'd be a blue line and we'd refer to it as the Blue Line of Death.

What year did you say your car was?
