Window Tinting

My window tinting guy recommends a metallic film. Anyone have this and does it cause a problem with cell phones and GPS?

They also have a ceramic tint that is more efficient in blocking the sun than metalic tint. Ceramic tint will also not effect radio receiption or effect GPS. Hope that helps:)
