Looks like they have a long way to go before we will see them on the road. Charging issues. Millage issues. Oh and the cost to run it Doesn't seem like it's really saving the planet unless your house is solar powered.

The guy David that we met last weekend in Malibu has had his Mini E for a couple months and had nothing but good things to say about his so far.

And his truly is solar powered/charged, via his solar system at home.

See. Now that's cool. If I had a butt load of cash and could do anything I wanted i would go that route for sure. It's nice to see that some rich people do care about their Carbon footprint.

Well, thats not just Mini, thats the whole science world. The person/company that comes up with that new magical battery technology is going to be VERY rich.

Of course a battery that once it will no longer provide power and doesn't turn into another waste product we have to dispose of would be good too. All this nickel and waste byproduct in the current batteries will add up to their own mess at some point if we don't find that solution too.

Vaporware man.... Tata has been trying to make that work for a decade... unless radical materials are discovered or we decide to make paper thin cars legal on our streets, you wont see them pass any countries crash standards.
