I have a nice big stack of RC cars collecting dust in the garage...however your screen name is not familiar. But, I am going to assume you recognize me from the AZ RC Freaks....

Your penguin avatar could be a clue. There was a whole family of penguin nuts over on the Freaks board. Was that you?

Yup. In RC Land, I go by SpeedyDad. My son Alex is the SpeedyPenguin. He's the penguin nut. He's now living in Tucson going to U of A and, in RC, races offroad for XFactory.

Well...we meet again! A whole new set of gas powered toys too! I was looking through your list of mods...some of those looks pretty sweet! I wouldn't mind doing some of the little stuff. White marker lights, "S" gas cap, and door jams. Those looks sharp! I might be recruiting your help for some of that!

Yeah, yeah. Doesn't help that I haven't been able to drive for over a month. That and racing RC has pretty much kept me busy. Now that Alex has moved to Tucson, I have more free time.

It is near his favorite offroad RC track and many of his racing friends including a 2 time world champion. Plus, U of A gave him a scholarship while ASU offered him nothing.

If it is who I think it is,, I may have some pictures of them and the car back in its early days... 2 sweet little old ladys made the trip to the first AMVIV with us... They were in a CR/W Cooper.. The age group is right there...
