M.A.D.M.E.N Odometer-Where we went in September.

September was a Grand month for the MADMEN.
MINI Munchies was at Longhorn Steakburger (the majority of us had steak) on the far east side of Tucson.
Last  Saturday Breakfast was at Lupitas Cafe with a terrific drive afterwards on the west side, over some dips and twisties to the view point at Gates Pass. The weather was great, the drive well planned and the company was awesome.

But what made this month so grand was our weekend adventure to the Grand Canyon. For some this was a first-time trip and we were honored that it was with us. The weather was exceptionally beautiful all weekend, the chosen restaurants (barbecue, Mexican and diner) were the best and again, the company of our fellow club members was superb.

October promises to be a fun and scary month.

MINI of Tucson is holding it’s first “MINIs and Munchkins” (free coffee and doughnuts) October 5 at 9am. In adition we are invited to write and draw on the wall our designs for a dealer t-shirt.

Also on October 5 at 12 noon we will be meeting at U Like Buffet, 5101 N. Oracle Road for our 2014 planning meeting. Bring your ideas, suggestions and a calendar while we plan the next year of eating, drives and weekend adventures.

October 10 My MINI Has the Munchies will be at Guillermo’s Double L, 1830 S. 4th, 6pm.

AMHIP- A MiNi Haunting in Prescott will be October 19 and 20. We’re heading to Prescott for a Haunting Tour of the town and a night in the whispering pines (hopefully we can sleep after the terror of the tour). Last Saturday of the Month Breakfast we’ll be heading to Old Vail Hot Rods and then cruising down to Tombstone for a day of Old West adventures.
