I need a shift knob!!!

Postby Weedo » Mon Dec 17, 2007 1:37 am

So at the AutoX today I pulled it into 2nd gear and POP! the knob came off in my hand!!!

I put a B&M in there and used the stock knob. Evidently it's not all that compatible...

Anyone have a nice knob they want to get rid of???

And nice to meet a few of you today!!!!

I think I'd better find a 6-speed knob or I'd never remember to put it in 6th! Thanks for the offer. I'll see what I can come up with...

I still have my original 6-speed knob...you're welcome to that.... I replaced it with a Whalen machine.... you might want to check out Doug Whalen's website http://www.whalenshiftmachine.com/

Merry Christmas.... hope to see you at the track again soon. PM me if you're interested in the original shift knob...

I've checked out there knobs and they look excellent! I'm trying not to drop a bundle on the knob since I'm already about $4,000 deep into the car to get it where I want!

I did get a stock knob from a member on NAM. Unfortunately its an older knob than my original so it is yellowing and the stitching isn't taught like mine was. I'm also watching one on Ebay that might work. Thank you for the offer, and Merry Christmas to you too!!!!
