Drive one for Autisim

Hey all,

For those of us who may be on the west side during the weekend ( Glendale & the 101 ). They are having a Drive for Autisim at Westgate. You show up and test drive a new Volvo ( I know ) -- they donate $20.00 per test drive to the SARRC center -- YOU get entered to win a lease on a new Volvo S80 ( decent daily driver ) and a gift bag with stuff in it.


I will be out there tonight - it should be fun and it is a good cause. SARRC has helped me out with my youngest son and they do a good job.

Well.....

I looked at the clubman - like it --- but the full JCW kit does not come out till sometime this summer ( according to MINI UK ).

I thought about getting the Clubman S with some JCW bits installed - but I already had my old 04 S - with all the mods. It was fast but not real smooth. I think I will wait for the full JCW package to be avail.

That way I get exactly what I want with out voiding the warranty

Don't worry... I'll be back around soon enough. I know how you all miss me!!!

I just got back from the "event" -- If you park by the AMC theater it is right there.

Nice people, lots of good stuff in the gift bags - got a free appetizer from Margaritaville , free desert from some gelato place, discounts to Gordon Biersch (sp) and a bunch of others.
Well worth the time!!!
