I'd love to hear your thoughts about NC. I have to do my radio show Thursday night, which is why I don't make any weekday club events. The show airs LIVE Monday through Friday, 7p-9p Pacific time and I take off every other Friday and Monday so myself and the host each take turns with a four day weekend. Confused yet? Before the show, during the week I am usually producing the show - finding and booking guests, determining what direction the show will take that night. I then fix computers after the show, often until about 3-4am most nights, which is why my days don't usually start until noon. And, when I have time, I'm writing three articles for MC2, but the publisher, Peter DuPre, isn't happy with how long he has to wait to get the articles, so I don't know what's going to happen, but in a worst case I will submit them to Mini Alliance, but I am hoping Peter and I can work things out as my first choice for publication is MC2. I am also working on my second book and I have to fly out to give presentations - I have to go to Florida in November to do some seminars and thinking of visiting NC and shopping for homes while I am on that side of the country. I was also, until recently, teaching in the afternoons a couple days a week at GCC. But that doesn't pay enough, so I finished my committments with them and decided not to pursue any new ones with them. Some where in all of this, I have to find the time to decide where I want to live, find a home, qualify for it and move into it. Because of this hectic lifestyle, I want to live somewhere less hectic outside of my own home.
I'm finding it harder and harder to be patient when I have so much to do, and I really don't want to consider anti-depressents as way to deal with constantly rude and inconsiderate people in my community. It's that reason that a small town, less crowded and less expensive, is so appealing to me. Also a reason why we are doing MITM this year - to check out prospects in Colorado. However, from what I've heard, it can be just as expensive if not more so. But definately want to stay out of the desert, which means no Nevada, no Utah, no AZ, no NM... See how quickly the list whittles down?
...just in case anyone was confused about me, why I'm here (in AZ) and what I do for a living.
