DMC - 1st Sunday Coffee/Donuts @ Mini of Tempe 5/2

Mini of Tempe is hosting a monthly coffee & donuts event from 8AM to 10AM on the first Sunday of the month.

No real specific agenda has been set, but ideas are in the works for maybe a run or such after.

Please park right in the front in the main guest parking, and we'll overflow from there if needed.

Donald emailed to let us know that he will have 4 boxes of donuts this time so there should be plenty for everyone and that the parts person will also be there in the morning.

They would also like to have everyone sign in with their name and email address when they get there, so look for a sign-in sheet. The are going to offer special new & used car pricing for the club as well as the 10% parts discount that is already in place. As they collect those email addresses they can then let everyone know directly about some special deals.

In the process of replacing the LCA Bushings 2 weeks ago I managed to rip both inner CV Axle Boots. Spent the last 2 weeks trying to find someone who carries remanufactured axles but no one does. One company makes "new" aftermarket axles but posts on NAM say they self destruct after about 1000 miles. So I ordered OEM Boots and we're gonna try to re-boot them ourselves.

We'll be there for sure. Last month was a blast with the last minute run afterwards up South Mountain and lunch at The Farm. We were thinking of doing something similar this Sunday by heading out to the Queen Creek Olive Mill for lunch. It was featured on an episode of Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe. It's about 30 miles from MoT. Not a twisty drive or anything but a cool destination to hang out at under the trees. Im going to try and come by on my way to autocross. I signed up for afternoon runs and will not know what I received until Saturday. Anyone that wants to come out and see what a autocross is all about is welcome. There are usually 4 or 5 MINI's there. Really close to MOT also.
