We are going to invade the Monthly Fly-In Breakfast hosted in Coolidge!
On the first Saturday of every month, Coolidge Aviation sponsors a "Fly-In". What does this mean? It is basically a MINI event with airplanes! People from all over the state fly in their planes, park, and check out the other planes!
I went to one of the events (was lucky enough to fly in) last month and found it could be a great destination event. I got to see some great planes and even an amazingly restored Vietnam Era Helicopter that a Vietnam Vet flew in with his kids and grand-kids along for the ride!
Bring your cameras (flying goggles are optional for convertibles) and come have a great time.
Breakfast Info:
Breakfast is served by the Coolidge Lion's Club in front of the main 1940's hanger. They have Pancakes, Eggs, Sausage, and Bacon along with OJ and Coffee. The cost was $7 for adults and $5 for kids. They will load your plate up till you are satisfied and make sure you have enough that you're not hungry after.
